I usually wear a small, however since the coat is fitting through the bustline and if you have a larger bustline, you should order the next size up. The medium fit great but still I would prefer a zipper instead, because the middle closure does still pop open occasionally (but that would not be as authentic, since my mother has a real mink that has the same type of closures). I wore it on Christmas and my mom loved it!! The colors are mostly an ash brown mixed with lighter shades of it and white. It looks grey in the photo, but I can see that it would go with black OR brown accessories-very versatile. The fur is SOOO soft-like a real chinchilla would feel. I have a problem with longer arms-but the sleeve length is just right. This jacket would have been given five stars if it had a zipper instead of hooks! The eyes for the hooks are north-south direction, and it's hard to close, also, the middle one won't stay closed. But all-in-all it's a gorgeous jacket!!! I also love the snuggly adjustable collar!
