You will get stopped in the street
Purchased last spring on sale and worn all winter. I accessorized with a 3 inch, elasticized, black leather belt, with an oval silver buckle and wore it unzipped but frequently wrapped and belted. Also wore with two to four, colorfully printed ethereally shear silk scarves, and black, four inch stiletto ankle booties and black slim cut jeans. I wore it daily and everywhere, to work, when grocery shopping, to the bank, and pumping gas. Total strangers would stop me in the street or at the gas pump and say how luscious the coat looked. Several people asked if they could take a photograph as we passed on the sidewalk. Some were women from their 20's to their 70's, some were men, young and old, and even homeless street people that told me how great the coat looked and it made their day. It was admired in elevators, and many a conversation was struck-up there thru Covid masks. This happened every day and several times a day. The coat is amazing and I feel so special and wonderful wearing it. There is one more thing you should know. I am a 77 year old guy, a doctor, 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. I have grey hair and I like talking with people. I've also found that you can't shop in woman's sizes without expecting alterations. They were worth every penny.

Very stylish jacket
The model in the catalog really flaunted this jacket. I was hoping it would look like that on me. For me it looks a lot better not zipped. But the opening really requires you to have a heavy sweater underneath. It’s very true to size and is truly versatile. Not sure I’d wear it when the temperature gets down to the 30s (because of the opening) but it makes a great 40-50 degree jacket to throw on.
