Fab-Furs Forecast: Fall Trends Preview
One of the most exciting parts of fall styling (besides all of the NEW styles to work with) is taking the trends we’ve seen on the runways and putting them into action. Here are a few of the trends we are most excited about along with our suggestions on how to easily try them out yourself!
Quiet Luxury
Living out the belief that “wealth whispers,” the fashion elite’s biggest statement for fall is actually quite understated. Think muted pallets of tan and black, sharply tailored pieces, and styles that are so luxurious they don’t need flashy labels to prove their worth.
Checkerboard Patterns
The 90’s and early 2000’s are still having their moment, so expect to see more checkboard patterns popping up (we’re partial to OUR take on the trend). Typically shown in black and white, it’s an easy way to add fun retro-vibes into your wardrobe without a total overhaul.
Hoods
Practicality is made chic with this easy-to-adopt trend. No longer just for casual days, hoods can add a dramatic flair to an otherwise simple look. Try the trend for yourself by wearing your favorite hooded style for a night out!
Faux Fur Accessories
Now this is a trend we ardently support (and dare we say started?), fuzzy add-ons were frequently spotted on the fall runways. Think bucket hats, bags, shoes. Perhaps it’s a residual of the “comfort dressing” trend of recent years, or maybe designers were looking for unexpected ways to add cozy vibes to cold weather styling. Whatever the reason, we are excited to see others hop on the faux-fur bandwagon!
